Giles currently leads CBA’s end to end collections and recoveries department including the Financial Hardship teams, providing short to longer term assistance for customers experiencing financial difficulty. This also includes Bankwest’s Financial Hardship teams. At the same time, he leads CBA’s remote Indigenous banking teams supporting remote and regional banking and CommBank Next Chapter teams, who are committed to helping end financial abuse. Giles has significant banking experience and knowledge having also previously worked for RBS/ NatWest in the UK.
