Catriona Lowe
Deputy Chair at Australian Competition and Consumer Commission
Prior to her appointment as Deputy Chair of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Catriona was a member of the Boards of the Australian Energy Regulator, Australian Financial Complaints Authority, the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority, the Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee and the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. She was also Co-Chair of the ACCC’s Consumer Consultative Committee, as well as being a former Chair and Treasurer of the Consumers’ Federation of Australia.
Catriona has over 20 years of experience in the consumer legal sector advocating for and ensuring consumers are protected and aware of their rights. She also has extensive experience in supporting community legal centres and advocacy organisations.
